Sweet & Sour Beef Balls

  • 400 g beef mince
  • 300 g tinned pineapple (keep the juice)
  • ¼ green capsicum 
  • ¼ red capsicum
  • ¼ yellow capsicum
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup continental flour
  • 2 tbsp capers, roughly chopped 
  • 2 tbsp chilli jam (extra for dressing)
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Thoroughly mix together all the ingredients except the pineapple juice. Roll into balls and cook in a pan with a good splash of oil for 4 – 5 mins each side.

Into a bowl, whisk together some chilli jam, a splash of oil, a splash of pineapple juice and drizzle over the balls.
