Sausage Rolls

Ingredients

 
500g minced pork
500g minced veal
1 onion, finely chopped
2 carrots, grated
2 sticks of celery, finely chopped
¼ bunch of curly parsley, finely chopped
Salt and pepper
2 eggs
4 Sheets of puff pastry
 

Method

 
Mix together the pork, veal, onion, carrot, celery and parsley then stir in the salt and the pepper and 1 egg
 
Divide the mixture into 4 and evenly distribute the mixture along the length of the pastry sheets. Brush with egg wash, then simply roll and crimp together, score lines on the surface of the pastry about 5 cm apart then brush the rolls with egg wash.
 
Place on a lined baking tray and bake at 200oc for 20-25 minutes.
