Rare Beef Tartlets

Ingredients

200 g rump steak, cubed
2 sheets puff pastry, cut in 12 circles
4 large roasted truss tomatoes, roughly chopped
8 fried button mushrooms, roughly chopped
50 g fetta cheese, crumbled
2 tbsp. pickled red onion, roughly chopped
Extra virgin olive oil

Method

Preheat oven to 200°C.

Fill a muffin tin with each puff pastry circle. Prick with a fork. Bake until golden and crispy.

In a hot pan with a good splash of oil, fry the beef until brown.

In a bowl, mix together the tomato, mushrooms and fetta. Combine with the beef, then fill each puff pastry tartlet with the beef filling. Garnish with onion and serve.
